During his jubilant celebration following a spectacular catch that sent Sameer Rizvi packing off Kagiso Rabada‘s delivery in the 16th over of the CSK innings, Harshal cheekily mirrored Chahal’s trademark stance.

Chahal responded to the incident with humour, playfully urging Elon Musk, the owner of X, to file a copyright claim against Harshal for mimicking his celebration following the catch.

Chahal secures spot in India’s T20 World Cup 2024 squad

On Tuesday, April 30, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveiled the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, slated to unfold in the United States of America (USA) and West Indies starting June 1. Team India are primed to clash with Ireland in their inaugural match on June 5. Chahal boasts a stellar international career, featuring 80 T20I matches and an impressive tally of 96 wickets, including his standout performance of 6/25 against England.

During the ongoing IPL season, Chahal showcased his bowling prowess for RR, securing the position of the second-highest wicket-taker with 13 scalps. Furthermore, he etched his name in IPL history by becoming the first player to amass 200 wickets.
